MEET REWA

Meet Rewa, a beautiful tortie girl of around 6 years or older who is more than ready to leave her stray days behind her.

Rewa came into our care after spending over a year living as a stray, regularly visiting a kind household where she knew she could find food and shelter. After having to look after herself for so long, she’s now ready for something much better — a peaceful home of her own and people to love her.

Rewa has a lovely, gentle nature. She’s friendly and affectionate without being demanding and would make a wonderful companion for an older person or couple looking for a calm feline friend to share their home with.

We don’t yet know how Rewa feels about other cats or dogs, so we think a quiet home where she can be the only pet would suit her best. Older, cat-savvy children who understand when she needs her space may also be fine, but a busy home with very young children probably wouldn’t be the right fit for her.

After spending so long fending for herself, Rewa deserves the chance to finally relax, feel secure and discover just how good life can be when you have a home and family of your own.

If you have a quiet home and a soft spot for the older cats who have had to do it a little tough, Rewa could be the perfect companion for you.

ADOPTION INFORMATION

All Coast to Coast cats and kittens are desexed, have received their first vaccination, are microchipped and are up to date with flea and worm treatments.

We are based in the Bay of Islands, Northland. Please ensure you are able to travel or meet transport requirements when applying. Transport is generally limited to Northland and Auckland.

This adoption fee goes towards the cat's costs of:

• Worm and Flea treatments
• De-sexing
• Vet Book
• Vaccinations – based on age of cat or kitten. A booster vaccination may be required.
• Microchipping and Registration

Trial and refunds

Your cat or kitten will be on trial for 14 days. If for any reason the adoption does not work out by the final day, we will refund your adoption fee back to you. Coast to Coast Cat Rescue has made every effort to ensure that all cats and kittens are in good health however, undetectable illnesses may be incubating at the time of adoption. Coast to Coast Cat Rescue holds no responsibility or financial liability for any future illnesses or injuries that may present in the cat or kitten once adopted.

Important information

We understand life changes so if for some reason at any point in the future you can no longer keep your cat, we require that you contact Coast to Coast Cat Rescue and we will take the cat back into our care for rehoming. We have strict policies when it comes to re-homing our cats to ensure the fit is right for you and the animal. We reserve the right to decline any adoption of any cat or kitten to any person or persons if we believe the home would not be suitable.
