Black Cat Nyx is a young mum who came into the rescue with her three kittens, all of whom have now flown the nest. Barely an adult herself, she has a playful, youthful nature that really starts to shine once she’s settled in.

She can be a little shy at first, but with a bit of time and patience, Nyx becomes an affectionate and loving companion. She’s also relaxed and comfortable around other cats, making her a great fit for a multi-cat home.

A gentle girl with a playful side, Nyx is ready to enjoy life for herself now and find a home where she can truly thrive.

We are based in the Bay of Islands, Northland. Please ensure you are able to travel or meet transport requirements when applying.
Transport is generally limited to Northland and Auckland.

This adoption fee goes towards the cat's costs of:

• Worm and Flea treatments
• De-sexing
• Vet Book
• Vaccinations – based on age of cat or kitten. A booster vaccination may be required.
• Microchipping and Registration

Trial and refunds

Your cat or kitten will be on trial for 14 days. If for any reason the adoption does not work out by the final day, we will refund your adoption fee back to you. Coast to Coast Cat Rescue has made every effort to ensure that all cats and kittens are in good health however, undetectable illnesses may be incubating at the time of adoption. Coast to Coast Cat Rescue holds no responsibility or financial liability for any future illnesses or injuries that may present in the cat or kitten once adopted.

Important information

We understand life changes so if for some reason at any point in the future you can no longer keep your cat, we require that you contact Coast to Coast Cat Rescue and we will take the cat back into our care for rehoming. We have strict policies when it comes to re-homing our cats to ensure the fit is right for you and the animal. We reserve the right to decline any adoption of any cat or kitten to any person or persons if we believe the home would not be suitable.
