MEET COLIN

Colin is a gorgeous tabby boy with beautiful green eyes and a sweet, gentle nature.

Colin and his brother Keith sadly came into our care after their family had to surrender them when their landlord said they had too many cats. Through no fault of his own, Colin is now looking for a new family to call his own.

Of the two brothers, Colin is the quieter and more sensitive one. He may take a little longer to settle into a new environment and get to know his people, but once he feels safe, you’ll see what a lovely boy he really is.

Colin enjoys gentle pats, cosy places to curl up and being close to the people he trusts. He’s not the type to come charging in demanding attention — he just needs a little time and patience to find his feet.

He is good with other cats and takes comfort from having his brother Keith nearby, so we would love to see them adopted together. However, we also believe Colin could be adopted separately into a patient, loving home that will give him the time he needs to settle.

ADOPTION INFORMATION

All Coast to Coast cats and kittens are desexed, have received their first vaccination, are microchipped and are up to date with flea and worm treatments.

All cats under 5 years of age also come with 30–42 days of free pet insurance.

ADOPTION LOCATION & TRANSPORT

We are based in the Bay of Islands, Northland. Please ensure you are able to travel or meet transport requirements when applying. Transport is generally limited to Northland and Auckland.

This adoption fee goes towards the cat's costs of:

• Worm and Flea treatments
• De-sexing
• Vet Book
• Vaccinations – based on age of cat or kitten. A booster vaccination may be required.
• Microchipping and Registration

Trial and refunds

Your cat or kitten will be on trial for 14 days. If for any reason the adoption does not work out by the final day, we will refund your adoption fee back to you. Coast to Coast Cat Rescue has made every effort to ensure that all cats and kittens are in good health however, undetectable illnesses may be incubating at the time of adoption. Coast to Coast Cat Rescue holds no responsibility or financial liability for any future illnesses or injuries that may present in the cat or kitten once adopted.

Important information

We understand life changes so if for some reason at any point in the future you can no longer keep your cat, we require that you contact Coast to Coast Cat Rescue and we will take the cat back into our care for rehoming. We have strict policies when it comes to re-homing our cats to ensure the fit is right for you and the animal. We reserve the right to decline any adoption of any cat or kitten to any person or persons if we believe the home would not be suitable.
